Our History
The Clos des Grands Jardins is a historic farm in Giverny located in the hamlet of Grands Jardins below the former Hôtel Baudy between the Sainte Radegonde church and the hamlet of Le Pressoir where Monet's house is located.
Listed on the Napoleonic land register of 1836, its construction is undoubtedly much earlier, according to the French Rural Houses Association. The original size of the fireplace hearth suggests it dates to the 18th century, or perhaps even earlier.
Carefully restored in 2025, the half-timbered house is a unique blend of traditional charm and modern comfort.Ideal for families and couples, our cottage is nestled in the heart of Giverny. It offers an intimate and peaceful escape from the everyday, .

Relax
Charm, comfort, an ideal location in Normandy for short or long stays. Find yourself, escape, discover or simply... let yourself live and contemplate!

Historical charm
In an authentic setting, the haystacks in the meadow at the bottom of the garden have disappeared but the half-timbering, the fireplace and some low beams contribute to this intimate atmosphere. Be advised, very tall people may need to bow their heads and the size of the bathrooms is limited due to the constraints of the old building !
Modern comfort
Authenticity combined with elegance and modern comfort, with bathrooms, a full kitchen, and bedrooms renovated in 2025 in a chic country style. Carefully curated vintage furnishings complete the setting, making you feel right at home. If you need to work, wi-fi and high-speed internet are at your disposal.
